Mike Stewart

Mike has more than 20 years of architectural and interior design experience, spanning the United States and the globe. His responsibilities have included project design and planning at world-renowned premier hospitality properties, including the MGM Grand in Macau, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, the Bellagio Spa Tower and Conference Center, recipient of Hospitality Magazine’s Best Suites and Best Spa awards; the M Resort, recipient of NEWH’s Hospy Awards for Best Mid-size Hotel, Best Lobby, Best Fine Dining, Best Suite, Best Lounge Bar and Best Buffet; and the Borgata, which received Global Gaming Magazine’s Best Design Project of the Year over $250 Million and New York Construction News’ Hospitality Project of the Year.

Mike joined YWS in 2008 and, as Global Director of Design, uses his wealth of award-winning experience to inspire, focus, and drive the entire team to create bold and innovative design solutions.

Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arizona and also studied abroad in London, at the Imperial College of London in association with the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), holds a Certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with specialty in Building Design and Construction.
