Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts
Dana joined Four Seasons in June 1998 as a Design and Construction Manager. In 2000, she was promoted to a Director with managerial responsibility for a variety of international projects (including Amman, London – Canary Wharf, Prague, Provence at Terre Blanche, Miami, Geneva and Bora Bora). In 2001, she was promoted to Vice President, Design and Construction.
Dana has a degree in architecture from the University of Toronto and is licensed as an architect in Canada. She also has a degree in art and architectural history from the same university. She claims this was a necessity to allow her passion for creativity to flourish, her father maintained it was because he paid tuition and she wanted to defer working as long as possible. Prior to joining Four Seasons, she was Vice President of Design and Construction at Cineplex Odeon Corporation, a Canadian film exhibition company.
In 2016, Dana’s title changed to Vice President, Interior Design reflecting design oversight across all new build and capital projects. She establishes the appropriate design concept and guides teams as they develop a unique interior design language for each project. In addition, she acts in a consulting capacity internally with respect to design aspects on branding and is part of the innovation initiative in the company. Dana also acts as an ambassador, conveying the Four Seasons commitment to quality, functionality, beauty and innovation to journalists, preferred partners and industry professionals.
