James Haggerty leads the architecture and interior design teams for upscale brands with Choice Hotels International. With Choice, he is responsible for managing nearly $750 mm of product development, spanning from Newport, Rhode Island to Seattle, Washington. James has developed multiple high-profile projects including the Cambria Hotel Downtown Nashville, Cambria Hotel New Orleans Warehouse District, Cambria Hotel Downtown Los Angeles at LA Live, and the Cambria Hotel LAX.
James has a diverse design background and has been a contributor on more than 100 domestic and international projects representing over ten million-square-feet of space of mixed-use space. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, James provided oversight of multiple federal facilities, including the one million-square-foot Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building which is situated as part of the United States Capitol Complex, in conjunction with the United States Supreme Court.
James holds a Master of Architecture professional degree from the Catholic University of America.
