John Terzian

The h.wood Group
John Terzian has become a strong force in the Los Angeles restaurant and nightclub industry since the inception of The h.wood Group in 2008. From one lounge in LA to a flourishing business with over 17 venues across the country, he and his managing partner, Brian Toll, continue to expand h.wood’s portfolio of upscale restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels.
As a Southern California native and a graduate of USC and Pepperdine Law School, Terzian brings a wealth of experience and close-knit industry relationships that have stemmed from his entrepreneurial endeavors. He has leveraged strategic partnerships and a signature style of branding to create a unique niche of reservation-only eateries like Delilah and the NICE GUY, which captured the attention of celebrities, foodies, and LA locals. Combining thoughtful cuisine, elegant cocktails, and state-of-the-art interiors have elevated Terzian’s venues into some of the most-frequented establishments in the world.
Aside from being an entrepreneur, he is actively involved in philanthropy and serves as a board member for the nonprofit organization mentorship program for the homeless, Imagine LA, and serves as an active co-chair for the Children’s Hospital’s Sports & Entertainment board.
Terzian has been notably featured in a variety of print publications including Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar, Business Insider, Reuter’s, Yahoo! Finance, Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, and was on the cover of Business Jet Traveler and High Rise Life. He also made guest speaking appearances on Larry King’s “King’s Thingsâ€, Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Conference, and Bobby Flay’s “Beat Bobby Flay.â€
With more venues and events on the horizon, Terzian continues to be the lead director of The h.wood Group.
