Mary Scoviak is the Executive Editor of Boutique Design magazine, a award-winning business-to-business publication for decision-makers involved in the hospitality design community worldwide. Scoviak is also the conference director for Hospitality Media Group (HMG), with responsibility for program planning for two of the nation’s fastest-growing trade fairs and forums, Boutique Design New York (BDNY), held in conjunction with the HMG-managed HX: THE HOTEL EXPERIENCE, and BDwest, and for overseeing the Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design competition each year. Scoviak’s outstanding vision in all these areas earned her a place as one of the Folio: Top Women in Media for 2017. Prior to joining ST Media Group, Scoviak was Editor at Large for HOTELS magazine and Executive Editor of HOTELS’ Investment Outlook, business publications that reach more than 66,000 readers in more than 164 countries. In addition to her post as Senior Editor for the personal finance magazine, MoneyMaker, Scoviak is the co-author with Anne Schmid of the book “International Hotel & Resort Design,” as well as “The Professional Housekeeper,” co-authored with Madelin Schneider and Georgina Tucker and a series of personal investment guides.
