Stacey Olson serves as Gensler’s Southwest Regional Design Resilience leader, specializing in integrated sustainable design and strategic thinking for all practice areas including hospitality, retail, sports, campuses, higher education, corporate headquarters, net zero energy projects, airport, commercial office space and master planning. Additional sustainable workflow includes facilitating eco-visioning sessions as well as third party certification; materials and health + wellbeing research, and development of both internal and external educational content.
Most recently, Stacey led sustainable integration for a confidential 20-acre, 5-Star Resort & Hotel development in California, and has spoken on current sustainability trends for a The Irvine Company, CBRE, NEWH, and ILFI.
Stacey sits on the Fitwel Advisory Committee, is the NEWH Green Voice Chair, and is an Accredited Professional for LEED AP+ID&C, BD&C, EcoDistricts, and is a Fitwel Ambassador. She is also a Certified Interior Designer with degrees from the University of California, Irvine, and the Interior Designers Institute of Newport Beach.
